چکیده

The torque measurement usually comes from strain gauges bonded on a shaft. The main concern in this measurement is due to the fact that these gauges are also rotating and the integration of electronic on rotating parts is definitely a blocking point. To overcome these limitations, the architecture of our device is mainly composed of two targets, two position sensors, a proof body and a compact body. In its working principle, the angular shift between two rotary targets along the shaft is converted by the proof body into amplified axial shift between the targets. Only one sensor is required to measure the target motion. However two sensors perform a differential measurement in the stationary frame for temperature compensation. This new generation of contactless sensor has been developed and patented to capture the torque in a stationary axle or rotating shaft. The measurement is done with stationary electronic components. This unique compact structure measures torque with low-cost standard eddy current sensor..

Strain gage mounted on the surface of the shafts with specified directions are one of the common methods for measurement of the torsion in shafts. The most critical problem in utilization of this method, particularly in the online monitoring of torsional vibration and instantaneous torque in rotary systems, is due to its signal transfer process. In this paper, a simple, practical and feasible m...

Torsion of cylindrically poroelasic circular shaft with radial inhomogeneity .some exact solutions for extruder

Torsion of elastic and poroelastic circular shaft of radially inhomogeneous, cylindrically orthotropic materials is studied with emphasis on the end effects example for extruder. To examine the conjecture of Saint-Venant’s torsion, we consider torsion of circular shaft with one end fixed and the other end free on which tractions that results in a pure torque are prescribed arbitrarily over the fr...

Elastoplastic torsion of hollow FGM circular shaft

In many cases, a torsional shaft may be a thick-walled radially inhomogeneous cylindrical object. The hollow shafts made of functionally graded materials (FGMs) are such kind of compositions which were studied in this paper. Cylindrical FG shafts are composed of ceramic and metallic parts with power function distribution across the radial direction. The ceramic phase is isotropic elastic and th...

Contactless Torque Sensor - Mechatronic Principle and Prototype Development for Automotive Applications

In this paper fundamentals and the prototype development of a new contactless torque sensor are presented. The whole device can be divided into a mechanical and an electromagnetic system. The prototype is designed for the torque range of an electric power assisted steering. The basic idea is the transformation of the shaft twist under torque load into a translational movement of the middle part...
